| The Texas Hill Country has every
type of lodging and camping establishment you could ever want. From the
smallest of mom and pop operations to the largest nationwide chains of
hotels and motels. We seem to have them all right here in the Texas
Hill Country.
I debated over and over on how to list them all on one
or two pages of this website and then decided NOT to, since they are
already listed on numerous other Hill Country visitor sites. The
various local area Chamber of Commerce offices already maintain excellent list of
available lodging establishes. So why repeat it was my thought. Instead
I will highlight the local lodging and camping businesses that cater
to motorcycle riders. The Texas Hill Country area has some
excellent lodging available made just for us motorcycle riders. We
actually have one Inn in the Hill Country that only allows lodging IF
you are on two wheels !

My top pick for motorcycle friendly resorts and it also made Ride Texas
Top 10 List as well. Koyote Ranch is 14 miles South of Kerrville on
scenic Route 16. A must visit destination even if you don't lodge here.
Frio Canyon Area:
D Rose Inn and Cabins
located on US Highway 83, in Leakey (LAY-key), the motorcycle mecca of
Texas and is surrounded by some of the most beautiful views in the
Texas Hill Country. Motorcyclists and bicyclists enjoy the scenic farm
and ranch roads 39, 1340, 187, 470, 1050, 1120, 2748 and of course the
3's: 335, 336, and 337. Motorcycle and bicycle lodging only.
Named in the top 10 lodging properties by readers of Ride Texas
magazine the last three years and were the number #1 lodging the last
two years.
River
Bluff Cabins Motorcyclists will appreciate our proximity to the
Three Sisters Loop. We are surrounded by some of the best riding the
Texas Hill Country has to offer. River Bluff is conveniently located
less than two miles south from downtown Leakey, Texas

bright, clean cabins on the Nueces River just 60 miles from the
Mexican border.

unique, recently-renovated theme rooms, like the John Wayne room and
the Pancho Villa room. Located on 16 South in downtown Bandera. Try the
pizza there...it is the best I've found in the area.
